The best part was about five didn't get it and I had to spend 3 minutes trying to explain it to them. Yesterday was even better. They were finishing the book silently and I had a student ask me what a soon-off-a-goon was. I looked at the word and told her it was son-of-a-gun. The light bulb clicked... "Ohhhhhhhh.... oops...."
